Size of genetically modified variety and the antioxidant medicinal properties - video

 Τhree branches of a local indigenous variety of cornus mas (cornelian cherry) were grafted and produced large-sized fruits. 

The new fruits of the genetically modified varieties are large, but they do not have the antioxidant medicinal properties of the local varieties.

As a rule, Nature produces fruits with medicinal properties for local populations only.
